それは、その人よりも、自分のほうがまだましだと思うことでエネルギーを補給することができるのです。

これがエネルギーバンパイアの在り方なのです。

自分が愛に満たされている、褒めている、感謝している人は、決して上記のようにはなりません。

これがセルフイメージ、自愛の本質なのです。

クリスマスの季節になると、わたくしが自然に思い起こされるのが、英国の作家ディケンズが執筆したクリスマスキャロルという作品です。
物語自体を要約してしまうと、主人公であるスクルージが幽霊達によって死期の迫った晩年、己の過去の人生を具体的な映像として見せられ、それに対して、深い悔恨の思いを突きつけられるという内容です。
彼は所謂錢貸しです。守銭奴であり、金銭を貯めることだけに喜びを感じており、その為ならば他人に対して容赦のない人物でありました。
そんな彼にもやがて死という現実がやって参ります。
そこで初めて、本当の恐怖、後悔、他人様から見た自分の姿というものを知ることになります。

この書物で学べる教訓

① お金のためのお金という考え方に陥った場合、誰を幸せにすることも不可能である。
お金はその使い方によって人生を貧しくもし、人生を豊かにもする。
お金を自分の為だけに使ったとしても、そこには限界が生じてくる。けれども、お金を他人の幸せをも考慮に入れて使った場合には、その富の恩恵は無限に発展していく。真なる富の連鎖。

② 自己の姿を客観的に見つめるという体験をする。これ自体はとても貴重な体験でもあります。誰もがやろうと思えば出来るのに、真なる姿はなるべく見たくはないという事実。
