私は少々動揺していたが、そのままの姿勢を貫き通すことに徹した。すると占い師の手は、胸に触れる直前ですぐに元の位置へ戻った。占い師は私の顔を見て微笑する。
「幸恵さん、あなたは少し自尊心が高いように感じるわ、違うかしら、そのせいで男性に求める理想も高めにセッティングしているのではないかしら？ 高い自尊心は男性が求めている母性を脆弱なものにしてしまうの。つまり男性は甘えることが出来なくなってしまうわ」
ずばりと本当のことを言われてしまうと多少のショックを受ける。それは自分が目をそらして生きていた部分であるからである。
